Wood types

The materials of which a hive is built have a great responsibility in its durability and resistance, and at Casa do Apicultor we always choose the best quality wood. We use pine (pinus pinaster) and cryptomeria (cryptomeria japonica), which are certified types of wood with high quality, very resistant to climate changes, therefore, ideals to build hives and its components.
